First Bloom

I will be showing work from three different series in First Bloom. There will be collages (often involving koi, water lilies, and Little Betty Jane), paintings (gouache on various papers (these are mostly of Spring Flowers), and a stop motion animation video.
Drawing is still primary in my practice as I stated in my last exhibition: Unstuck in January of 2016. But, now - painting is taking up more space and time in the studio. The animations have an added dimension - the use of green screen technology.
I hope to see you at the opening on November 17th!
